Nick Horton has just done the Arizona IronMan

 

you may be interested to know our local hard-working and hard-training lad came 24th overall including the pros, out of a huge number of 2143 people, and was actually the 5th non-pro over the line out of the whole field, & did 3.16marathon …

He was 3rd overall in his age group, so he was on stage at the Arizona awards Ceremony & presented with a Trophy,

 

UNREAL ACHIEVEMENT NICK, well done J.. Barnt Green is very proud of you

 

Nick will get a WorldChampionship ‘Hawaii IronMan’ slot.- he also broke a course record in his age group.

RUSSELL NEALE 1961-2009


Our dear friend Russell lost his fight with melonoma cancer on Friday 25th September. When it was diagnosed in July, after seven years in remission, the cancer was very aggressive and no treatment was available. He faced his illness with unbelievable courage and dignity.
